DIY Holiday Decor

Anyone else wake up to 5 degree weather outside?? Brrr..WAY too cold for me. It was so cold last night that it actually froze our water pipes. That is just insane people. Glad I have a handy dandy husband that knows how to fix everything.
I am so excited because today we are getting our counter measured for our granite counter tops!!! Yay. I cannot wait to get that black beauty into our kitchen.
So, as I was clearing off all our counter I had tons of left over berries and pine from my neighbor gifts. So instead of throwing it away I decided to use the rest of it to make some simple holiday decor. I think they would look great as a centerpiece if you had enough jars at different sizes. I didn't want to buy anything for this project, so I just used the jars I already had. I still like how they came out :)

What you'll need:

-mason jars or other type of vase
-berries
-pine (or your could use sage or rosemary)
-water
-tea light candle

This truly is the EASIEST decoration you could make, and did we mention this could easily be a free craft or at least cheap?? Just find some berries and pine in maybe your yard, a friendly neighbor, or take a little trip up the mountains. If you keep your eye out you will realize this is everywhere. Have fun my friends, and happy December. 'Tis the Season.
