DIY: Wire Headband Tutorial-with guest blogger Keisha

I have been soooo excited for this post to happen. Over Christmas holiday I received a package from my dear friend Keisha (we were college buddies in Interior Design school). I opened it up and saw the loveliest of gifts I have received in awhile.

I knew it was pretty..but at first I didn't quite know what it was.

Luckily she was nice enough to have it written out for me.

I have been SO IN LOVE WITH IT. I wear it all the time.
You know how most headbands start hurting right behind your ears after awhile? Or give you a headache? This one doesn't at all.  AND you can adjust it to fit perfectly for yourself.

So without hesitation I asked her if she would share her tutorial with you. Because everyone
MUST HAVE ONE OF THESE.
ASAP

So without further ado I give you the wonderful Keisha.....

I’m so excited to be here guest blogging today! I had a great time this Christmas DIY-ing my gifts and Kelsie asked if I’d share how I made my Wire Headbands.
I don’t have a sewing machine, so I sew by hand- but either way will work great! I just shopped the clearance fabric section and found some GREAT scraps for this project.
You’ll also need good scissors and a fairly thick jewelry wire...

On y va!
(here we go!)

There are different ways you can where this lovely accessory..three headbands in one?
please. and thank you.

I just want to thank Miss Keisha for being here today. Honestly...I have about a thousand of these I need to make. My favorite way to wear mine is the twisted wing option. Just sayin'...

  1. SO CUTE. I think this is the kind of headband my baby girl would actually wear. Can't wait to try it!

    1. Kelly, thanks for stopping by! And you will have to let me know how it goes with the babe. She probably won't even realize she is wearing it, because it is so comfortable. Good luck :)
